Brhan Platform

The marketplace dashboard and the backend behind it

Team build. The API and its infrastructure were built and run by the Brhan engineering team. I contributed the checkout purchase tracking, the web store performance work, the ARM64 Docker build fix and an API release.

Brhan Platform is the server side of the Brhan marketplace. A Laravel API built on the Bagisto commerce engine serves the web store and the iOS and Android apps, with an admin panel for orders, catalog, customers and sellers, queue workers for background jobs and email, and Stripe for payments. It runs on a private GKE cluster provisioned with Terraform and Terragrunt and released with Helm from CI, behind ingress-nginx with cert-manager TLS.

Snap a photo, get paid

NiceYard replaces invoicing for lawn care pros with a proof-based payment flow, shipped as a native iOS app on the App Store. A worker photographs the finished job and the client is charged on the spot through Stripe, with card-on-file, Apple Pay, and automatic SMS receipts. No monthly subscription, guaranteed payout rates, and a searchable history of every client and receipt.

A herbalist for every health question

Sanao turns a plain-language symptom into a clear, organized set of evidence-based natural remedies grouped by category, then lets an AI herbal guide refine the condition through conversation and regenerate the results. It runs as a web app with native iOS and Android clients over one type-safe backend, is localized into many languages, and bills Free, Pro, and Premium tiers through Stripe.

Key Solutions

Restaurant ERP: waiter app, kitchen display and owner dashboard

Key Solutions runs a restaurant's day from three screens. Waiters take orders by table on a phone app, cooks see them instantly on a kitchen tablet and mark them ready, and owners watch sales, open orders, payment mix and low stock live from a web dashboard. Every dish deducts its recipe ingredients from inventory automatically. It is a React Native app and a Next.js dashboard over one Supabase Postgres backend with realtime updates and row-level security.

Brhan is an e-commerce marketplace curating Habesha and Ethiopian goods, spanning traditional dresses, gifts, books, food and spices, and wellness products for the diaspora. It ships as a responsive web store and native iOS and Android apps published on the App Store and Google Play, with seller storefronts, catalog search, wishlists, in-app messaging, and secure Stripe checkout.

DaguLearn is an end-to-end e-learning platform where creators publish, sell, and track courses. It pairs a server-rendered Next.js frontend with a Node.js/PostgreSQL backend, integrates the Chapa payment gateway and the YouTube API for video content, and adds JWT auth with role-based access control, a creator earnings dashboard, and an admin control panel.
