The backend behind the Brhan marketplace: a Laravel API for sellers, orders and payouts, running on Google Kubernetes Engine with its infrastructure declared as code.

Every order on Brhan goes through this backend. The Laravel API, built on the Bagisto commerce engine with a multi-vendor marketplace module, holds the catalog, carts and checkout, seller storefronts, buyer and seller chat, shipping rates and seller payouts, and serves both the Next.js web store and the React Native apps.
The team running the store works from the admin panel: sales and visitor stats over any date range, today's orders, low-stock alerts, top products and top customers, plus full order, catalog and customer management.
In production the API and the web store each run two replicas on a private Google Kubernetes Engine cluster, next to Redis and dedicated queue workers for background jobs and mail. Data lives in Cloud SQL for MySQL on a private network, with daily backups and point-in-time recovery. The cluster, VPC, database, storage buckets, Artifact Registry and IAM are declared in Terraform and Terragrunt across shared, development and production environments, and every release goes out as a Helm upgrade from CI, with a helm diff step first, served through ingress-nginx with cert-manager TLS on brhan.io and api.brhan.io.
My part: I added server-side purchase tracking to the Stripe checkout, so each completed order is sent to GA4 through the Measurement Protocol and to a server-side GTM endpoint, and conversions are counted even when browser tags are blocked. I also fixed the Docker build for ARM64 machines with a local development override, and shipped an API release to the development cluster by updating its image tag and analytics config in the Helm values.
I also made the web store's catalog pages load faster. Product and category images moved from plain img tags to Next.js Image with explicit sizes and priority loading for what is above the fold, each card now requests an image resized for the device (243 by 246 on desktop, 163 wide on mobile) instead of the full-size original, I dropped an extra web font from the global styles, and memoized the account sidebar so it stops rebuilding on every render.
Team build. The API and its infrastructure were built and run by the Brhan engineering team. I contributed the checkout purchase tracking, the web store performance work, the ARM64 Docker build fix and an API release.
